A person prepared for traveling – let it be personal or official, always keeps on thinking “Have I missed something? Are all the things kept properly?” With the thousands of other thoughts running in mind there are chances that a traveler might miss some important things.
When you are traveling what can be the most important thing that you would not afford to miss or lose? Yes, the guess is right, that’s your Traveling Documents.
Your traveling documents may comprise of basic documents – your visa, your passport, your ticket and your vaccination card (if any).
Now, the best way is to make a file/ folder of these documents and keep them in the bag which would always be with you.
For your tickets, you should always have all the flight (or train or bus tickets) arranged as per the date of travel. It should be kept at one place in the file/ folder.
Your passport is an essential document when you are traveling overseas. You might not get an international traveling ticket without showing your passport to the travel agent and customs clearances. This makes it crucial to remember all the time that the passport once taken out of the file/ folder should be kept inside. One shouldn’t be ashamed to ask to the inquiring person this question, “Have you given me my passport back?”
Your visa is a part of the passport (it’s attached to the passport), but you need to be careful about the visa expiry date.
And, your vaccination card – the vaccination documentation, should also be with you. You may need vaccinations against some diseases, if you are traveling to certain countries.
